The Bamboo Forest
On my very first day in Japan I took the Shinkansen bullet train from Osaka to Kyoto. On arrival I dumped my luggage at my hotel room and took a cab to Nonomiya Shrine to see the bamboo forest. Although inspired by Trey Ratcliff's famous picture, I tried to make my own capture of this magnificient place.
